We’ve done different things for a few Thanksgivings. In 2014 when I was pregnant with Zane we went to California for the whole week of Thanksgiving and had a week of fun. Boys loved it! The last 2-3 days I've noticed a cognitive difference in Zane. He's starting to become focused on things he didn't before. It's a weird thing to describe. He's playing with toys in a different way than what he has previously. Kinda like he's just suddenly realized something new about stuff around him and he's exploring it ( Read more... )

Sometime last week we started Zane on size 3 diapers… which means he’s somewhere over the 16 pound weight milestone. Yes, he’s a little guy. And he does eat! He’s just gaining slowly. Currently we probably feed him about 6 ounces of baby food + 4 ounces of liquids in any one meal. He has 3-4 meals a day and 2 breast feedings still. Today however, ( Read more... )

We've set a new standard of activity this summer. We've been camping three times. It's been a long while since I've camped like this. Especially with my horde of boys. So pregnancy is pretty much running things and making me choose really easy choices this season. I don’t want to stress at all. And honestly, I feel so much pressure on my belly right now. This evening for a switch Mike and I needed to go to the store to get a few things for this week. Usually he just goes out and I stay home with the kids but I wanted to go to the store too. Christmas has come and gone here. School is back in too! And once again I'm behind in the little things I wanted to do for the holidays, like document the memories! Doh!
